I Have A Theory...

Intuition tells me that everything in the world is connected.  Connected by what? Well, something...somethings...lots of things.
   But that doesn't matter.
What DOES matter is that we are all connected.  People in North America are connected to people in South America, who are also connected to people in Australia, Asia, Europe and everywhere else in the world.
We're connected because we're the same species.  While our population characteristics differ exponentially, we are, inherently, all made up of the same 'stuff.'
You know what I mean.  I don't need to get biologically technical here.
Because we are composed of the same substance (just whisked together differently for each individual), we all have the same basic needs.
I don't have to tell you what those are, either.  You know what they are.
   So...
...we're made of the same 'stuff' and we have the same basic needs.  So what?
It matters because, again, we are all connected.  And the connections we have with each other are sometimes physical, mental, chemical, electrical, plasmatic, and otherworldly.
Taking this into consideration, it could be possible that if we all were to make a concerted effort to be better people--to be kinder, to smile more, to have more patience with others, to give without needing a receipt--the result would be felt worldwide and would be phenomenal in terms of size and importance.
What I am suggesting doesn't require any sort of anything from anyone other than effort...the effort that it might take for a butterfly to flap its wings, or a wave to crash against a cliff of land, or a rainbow to form between cumulonimbus clouds.
One peaceful action or notion per person, per day might be all it takes to understand the meaning of life.
If everyone, of all shapes, sizes and colors, around the globe, were to commit to enacting one peaceful act or deed in the time it takes for the Earth to make one revolution on its axis, the resulting tsunami of positive energy could quite possibly be recorded--or quilted-in, if you will--into the fabric that composes the space-time continuum of our universe.  If it is possible to still hear the echoed sounds of our universe being born, it is possible to also create a generational 'sound' that would perpetually resonate as a measurable wave.
The purpose of this blog is to enlist the population of the world in an attempt to memorialize in a positive way our presence at this time in our solar system.  As a bonus outcome, I predict that we would, collectively, no longer feel 'insignificant' with respect to how vast the universe is if we actively participate in a way that ultimately transforms...reshapes...embosses...and individualizes the generation that is currently alive on this planet.
